The Academic Senate for California Community Colleges represents the faculty of the 112 Community Colleges, ensuring effective participation in the formation of statewide policies on academic and professional matters

Assist
Created under the guidance and counsel of the three California postsecondary educational segments: the University of California, the California State Universities, and the California Community Colleges, ASSIST is a computerized student-transfer information system that can be accessed over the World Wide Web. It displays reports of how course credits earned at one California college or university can be applied when transferred to another. ASSIST is California's official online source for articulation agreements and other course transfer information

California Engineering Liason Council (ELC)
The Engineering Liaison Council is an organization composed of representatives of engineering and engineering technology education throughout California and several other states. This Handbook of California Articulation Policies and Procedures has been written to assist Articulation Officers, and all others involved in the articulation process. It is a comprehensive resource of articulation policies and practices for California's postsecondary educational institutions. It establishes common language and definitions of terms, includes explanations of systemwide policies, conceptual models, campus-specific practices, explanations of CAN, ASSIST, and IGETC, and examples of articulation agreements
