The Academic Senate for California Community Colleges represents
the faculty of the 112 Community Colleges, ensuring effective participation
in the formation of statewide policies on academic and professional
matters

Created under the guidance and counsel of the three California
postsecondary educational segments: the University of California,
the California State Universities, and the California Community
Colleges, ASSIST is a computerized student-transfer information
system that can be accessed over the World Wide Web. It displays
reports of how course credits earned at one California college or
university can be applied when transferred to another. ASSIST is
California's official online source for articulation agreements
and other course transfer information

models, campus-specific practices, explanations of CAN, ASSIST,
and IGETC, and examples of articulation agreements
