Dear Colleagues,
During 2001-2002, over 500 faculty from UC,
CSU and the California community colleges made decisions about
curriculum that will positively affect transfer, student success
and curricular offerings on your campus. Their work through
the Intersegmental Major Preparation Articulated Curriculum
(IMPAC) Project is reported in the enclosed report of IMPAC's
2001-2002 discipline discussions and recommendations; this
report (and notes about this year's discussions) can be found
at our website: http://www.cal-impac.org
We hope that representatives of your college
or university have been attending these regional and statewide
meetings and have contributed to this report. We urge you
to share these findings broadly across your campus with faculty,
staff and administrators.
